I'm excited about the upcoming game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" featuring Sam Whitwer whose memorable performance as a Lieutenant in Battlestar Galactica has me looking forward to seeing him as an apprentice to Vader.

I don't know how canonical this story is going to be, but it apparently has Lucas' support.

Definitely one of the better Flash sites I've been to:

http://www.lucasarts.com/games/theforceunleashed/

The picture of Vader deserves mention:

I can't tell if that is a computer 3D model or an illustration derived from a photo, though the perspective is a bit fancified like the painting below to be purely a photo. :

Just a guess: I have not seen Vader in media images, other than the concept painting. However, the fact that Whiter's character is an apprentice to Vader, it suggests that we may see 3D rendered cut scenes of the apprentice interacting (even briefly) with our favorite Dark Lord.

The image below is of the Wii version:

The Vader icon suggests a Vader 3D model that you might be able to do Soulcalibur-styled battles with your friends. There is a very interesting looking character on the center bottom that looks like a Mando helmet with fangs. Being able to wield Darth Maul as a character has my interest piqued! (As this is a shot of the Wii "deathmatch" menu, I've not been able to verify if the XBox and PS3 will have the same feature. I'd much rather stay on a hi-res hi-powered gaming platform.)

Cant wait for this game, as well as the new Clone Wars for the Wii.

I think the game will have different features depending on the gaming platform.

Here's the PSP version. The ESB battle on Bespin!

Everyone knows he stood too close to the door of the Tantive IV door when the stormtroopers blew it open in order to board that Rebel blockade runner. The ash and fumes from cutting the door with a torch and the final explosion dirtied and scuffed Vader without his need to actually be in any battle. :blah

That Vader is not accurate and the upside down belt box is interesting...

Nah, looking forward to it also, don't play many games but I will get this I think at some point.

Woaw, that pic gets me excited. Always wondered why these games rarely include classic fights like that.

Yes, but you have to have some room for strafing. Think "Mortal Kombat" or SoulCalibur - but with lightsabers! :toothy

This video explains that each platform will have some unique content.

The Wii looks very, very interesting with its controller!
