bought this off a friend recently he tells me its cast off a sculpt that the person he bought it off did with a TK faceplate and a rebel pilot helmet modded just need to paint it add the decals and lenses and it will be good to go an interesting little bit is the box detail on the back of the mohawk is hinged like the box was on the originals
I also have another FG one that was cast off a DP CA tried taking some photos but the flash on my camera doesnt like taking pictures of high gloss black things lol i'll try taking some in natural light when the sun comes out

Looks very interesting! Nice way of making it. One thing though... is the bottom part of the face not put too far back into the back helmet? On Jez' site it is shown that the face on the originals were very angled when attached to the rest of the helmet so that it showed a gap in some cases at the bottom at the cheek tubes. Just an observation.

Oh... just realized: it's a one-piece helmet, right?

Can't wait to see it painted and pictures of your other TIE helmets! :thumbsup

Yep you're right NHM about the face it is set straighter on this than on my FG copy of a DPCA
yes its a 1 piece its a FG cast off the guys original sculpt
i must put a decent camera on my list to santa this year :lol

I was about to blast this with paint today but then thought i already have a TIE why not do a AT-AT driver
thoughts please and help i dont have much reference to work from and no idea what the various greebles and such were from or where to get some
