Here's the TI 1937 Tie Pilot Helmet project in pictures,
I cast the back section of my existing Tie Helmet fiber glassed and rough trimmed it and added a vac form TK faceplate , After cutting and reshaping the seam around the face the ear caps plates were cut off replaced and re detailed .
I spent a good amount of time filling and sanding the Mohawk along with cutting the eye's and frown out to sharpen the edges and then re backing them for molding .
Sprayed with several coats of filler primer and sanded smooth it was finally painted Black with automotive lacquer, It needs to sit for about a week to let the paint fully cure and then gets it's final polish.
There's a couple indoor outdoor pictures at the end .

Very nice. What is the source of the trooper face plate?

Very nice!

I was also going to ask what your sources are, for all of it actually..... Is the Back n cap from a real flight helmet?

I've always wanted to do Tie/AT AT helmets myself. The only way I could do it is to buy a real AP6 flight helmet and use my Brian R faceplate mould and modify it to a hero, then sculpt the rest.....

The back is from the Don Post helmet. That much is clear from the RPF thread.

The back is from a Don Post , The face plate is from a mold I made with permission from TE . I got a hold of a really poor set of armor that had been recast from his by an Ebay seller, it was full of double pull marks and rips in the plastic. I contacted TE about making new molds from that set and he didn't have a problem with it .
That's been Two years now and my new molds still have a ways to go , I don't plan on doing to many full sets of Armor or Helmets from them .
Getting back to the Tie Helmet who makes a good set of bubble lenses that I could offer with it and on the original Helmets are the cog decals paper sticker types ?.

Cool. Always good to know the lineage of these things.

I'm not so up on the info regarding bubble lenses, but maybe you could check with keith, as I believe he's made some hero Stormtroopers and may have a lead on bubble lenses.

Regarding the stickers... again... I really don't know. The ones TK-4510 made look pretty good. Unsure whether they are accurate.
