This is just a basic guide
The ESB suit is complex. It is a new design on from ANH. It is not reused but it does share the same principal of the 3 piece design including the Sleeve jacket, the Leather Vest and the Pants/Trousers.
When making this you have to consider many factors as it's no easy feat and you have to replicate the shoddy workmanship not normally seen by high level's of seamstress standards. You have to not only take the design and patterns on board but the correct weight of the fabric along with the correct dye not to say least the imperfections which are littered with inconsistancy. I colaborated with a talented community member to produce such a thing.
ESB VestThe comp below shows just how inconsistant the deisgn is. The ribs fluctuate in different forms of thickness. This is no easy feat for a seamstress to replicate as certain ribs stand out either thicker or thinnner. They also taper at various sections and incorporate the various seams. Under the chestbox and armour the design tapers very heavy and is often unknown about as it is hidden fairly well to be a consistant piece, that is until you study it with numerous reference.
Sleeve JacketThe principal while not exactly the same in design to ANH is very similar.
Pants/TrousersThe design was no doubt inspired by the ANH suit. The patches that show no leather, air, in those sections a little better than ANH and it makes it somewhat easier to move and to sit. The design below the knee is much like ANH in which if this was covered in leather would make the wearer that much more uncomfortable with the addition of the shins and boots pushing in those areas which would be unnecessary if it's mostly hidden from view.
