I have some large projects, e.g. mannequin modification / customization where the project will not fit in my sandblasting cabinet. There's plenty of space on my hobby room floor, but I refuse to dremel fiberglass without any dust containment, as this is my living space (really sucks not having a shop).

So I thought about it and thought about it.

Here's the potential solution: to use a very large clear bags. The 55 gallon ones might do it. If need be, I can cut up one or more bags to make something even larger, and the join them using clear parcel tape. ... ---Clear/3

I can use wide paint masking blue tape for the openings to restrict air access, and use this solution in conjunction with long-arm chemical gloves. Once I get the project inside - along with the dremel, etc. I'd basically tape the openings off.

Now in terms of dealing with the dust within the bag, I find that dust basically settles. If you have a plastic water squirt bottle and some kitchen towel paper, you can pretty much clean the majority of FG dust off the surface of your project without upsetting the rest of the stuff too much.

It still takes careful coordination and management, but this would be the poor man's solution for indoor FG crafting.

This concept also works for small projects. Plan your project accordingly and get the right sized bag. :thumbsup
