Archive stuff sounds exciting. Hope it meets my expectations. They aren't very high...LOL. :)

Happy to see the inclusion of the vintage "Making of" documentaries. I still have my old VHS copies of the Making of Star Wars and Classic Creatures--and an audio cassette of SPFX: The Empire Strikes Back that I made when it aired back in 1980 (I set the cassette recorder next to the TV--used to do that for Star Trek too --lol). I would have added "From Star Wars to Jedi the Making of a Saga" but I guess you can't have everything. I'll hang on to my VHS copy of that too.

As far as the movies are concerned I'm not expecting much either. If they fix the screwed up sound mix from the Star Wars DVD I'll be more than happy but I expect that they'll stick with the blown-out color timing aimed at people with 20 year old CRT TVs.

At the very least this will give the fan-edit guys some nice High-Def material to work with.

It's simply for my anal propster viewing pleasure. I'll love it. If the Archive stuff is rewarding, that's just icing....

If I could buy the bonus disc separately that would be worth something. Regarding the rest... still waiting for the 3 Star Wars movies to be released. Not wasting any more money on that special edition crap.

I was expecting to feel pretty excited when I first heard about this but now I've seen what's on offer I'm not all that bothered.
This was a great opportunity for LFL to give us fans the original version of the first three films as an option.

Prices reduced... (likely due to it being just the SE's and crappy PT :blah )

I have all the movies on DVD. I would like to get a DVD full of the deleted scenes and the other extras. That's what I'm interested in. Who knows what stuff has been hiding for all these years.

Would like to see John Jympson's early assembly of "Star Wars".
That would have been cool.
