Bummer. 'Cause it looks to be his height... and Hayden surely wasn't Prowse size by a long shot. I fear a RotS coming.

LOL... yeah. July is soon approaching, which is the talked about month, over at Rebelscum iirc, where this may be revealed.

Hope it exceeds my expectations in regards to helmet and armor and overall look, but I'm not really that worried as I have something going.

Its going to be interesting if they can match or beat the Marmit version. When comparing whats out there as far as stormtrooper 1/6 items, not much can compare to the Marmit figure.

Merged topics.

So, what's the deal on this kit? Are the pictures on Rebelscum of the finished product or just a prototype? I can see some things that could need improving. The body-suit looks plain and doesn't really have the ribbed-look to it that the real suit has - looks too thick and stiff. Never understand why they don't choose fabric that resembles the original, but in a scaled down fashion - resembles but is not the same as the original fabric. Same with the cape. Definitely something that pulls the overall verdict down... but maybe I'm just not into the whole "handling" thing with these figures - that things has to be sturdy enough to be handled and played with, which is why they choose thick fabric, rather than something that could emulate the look better, but could possibly be more fragile.

But what is up with the shoulder bells? The two ribs should meet up at the top and bottom of the bell, but it doesn't on this sculpt and their overall shape looks wrong.

Other than that I think it looks pretty good. Just can't get over the toy-look it has to some of the costume parts... but maybe I'm expecting too much from something like this. Definitely looking forward to more pictures of this.

Anyone got any info on how many will be available?

But look on the chestbox, belt, saber and this great helmet sculpt. I think its a really fantastic item for that scale.

Their ninth scale diorama sculpt is MUCH better than their sixth scale sculpt. I reckon the sculptor for this one is Trevor, as I believe he did most of the other ninth scale pieces. He's a fantastic sculptor, imo. But Sideshow still got the belt buckle on wrong, as with their Diplomatic Mission diorama.
