Unsure whether he's a member of any of the prop forums, but I just stumbled upon this video on Youtube last night during a search and wanted to share. It is such a joy to see someone actually know what they are doing after wading through tons and tons of videos of printed props that are barely prepped, cleaned up or prepared for painting, making the end result not look as good as it could have if that important stage hadn't been skipped.
Anyway, onto the video. I haven't studied the new troopers, so I have no clue whether he's making it accurate. All I know is that he spends a lot of time making things pretty before painting and the end result is just stellar.
