If the room had a green hue to it, that color would have also reflected in the dome.

Most likely has to do with camera angle and what's behind the lens.

The Grunberg ANH helmet also shows off a green tint in Vader's lenses with a different set, different helmet, different lighting, and likely a different camera/lens combo.

The Grunberg ROTJ doesn't reflect grey at all. So you can probably rule out lens discoloration - in fact there's a photo of the faceplate alone, with the the white background peeking through the lenses - and the lighting/white background shows grey lenses.

Guys. Photography isn't perfect. It can alter colors depending on the camera. Also, there can be a different colored item holding the helmet up, which then affects the lens color. It can also be reflecting the color of the room - and anyone who knows color, the surrounding color doesn't even have to be green, just a color that reacts with the amber color to generate the appearance of green. You can't judge lens color from picture of a helmet with the dome on - even with the dome off the color of the item behind the lenses can change their color. What I'm seeing is just dark lenses and won't bother thinking what their color is because that is impossible to determine in a picture like that. Frankly it just look like a reflection of the light used that creates that look.

This is a very similar helmet (but not the same):

So the lenses aren't in fact green.

That's a whole different mask and helmet, the little nicks on the helmets rims are different, as is the lower mouth vent size and the mesh inside the vent.

It's the same facemask, (the damage all matches, particularly on the vertical edges of the cheeks and along the rim of the neck), and I think the dome's probably the same but there could have been a repaint or touch-up somewhere between the the exhibition and white background shots?

As to the mesh, the angles mean we can't see the uppermost row of diamond openings in the white background shot but I'm confident they're the same.

Hi, Darth Obsession here.
This is the same helmet. When you look at the outside edge of the black cheek face, it's got the same worn or sanded off paint, and you can see the same stain or spot in the in the paint on the bridge between the upper and lower grills. The eyes being green is either because there's a green wall opposite the helmet or perhaps somebody did a little photoshop on the color of the lenses to make them look green.

Cheers

They are indeed the same helmet. There is enough matching scratches on the dome to determine they are the same helmet. Look at the large scratch on the side of the dome and the small paint cracks on the forehead. They match.
