Injection molding uses metal molds as far as I know, so # 1 will be exactly like # 100 and exactly like #1000000 in terms of structure. Edges may get worn, but not shape. You've just forgotten how crappily warped these actually are.

Good luck with the project. :cheers

It'll be interesting to see how far you can go with this project.

Good luck and have fun. I shall watch this thread with interest.

Sorry to hear about the fire. Have you lost much stuff? More importantly, are you OK?

I'm working on the same project..just as a cheap costuming mask. How did you fix the dome strip? It looks pretty good..here's where mine is at the moment.

From a Rubies Supreme to THIS - even in its rough shape... that's pretty stellar work.

Great work! Even in rough form, it has a very nice shape to it! :thumbsup

The work looks great but how do you keep it from breaking once you're finished modeling? is this to create a mold or a display piece?

I really like the rough look to it. The only thing that stands out to me on a quick viewing is the curve on the left outside mouth wall that looks a bit too extreme (right in picture). I think it should be more flat.

Nice work.
