Looking at buying some very soon to replace my Boba.

Do you mean price wise or which armour to buy?

I would say TM and depending if your looking for second hand or new allow between £500 - £1000 for fully suited, booted and blastered up..

Also good to mention TM is a fan sculpt unlike CFO but they are both great.

I suppose it all depends upon what you want out of the armour.
A recast FX suit from Ebay , a Lemontarts helmet from ebay, an Aldi undersuit ,a Hasbro repaint ,sell the fx helmet on ebay to recoup a few quid, you`re all kitted up for 400 quid , deal done appart from shoes...

However , if you want something screen accurate ,and acceptable by any costuming group or for display, you`re staring a grand in the face easily.

The fact that your asking on the Prop Den , I hope , means you are looking for screen accuracy. Welcome to the world of " costuming is for the big boys" :lol

Yeah... here... the words *FX* and *trooper* together... is not... hell... I shudder thinking about it. It was a nice fan sculpt a long time ago. It really should've been out-fazed when screen accurate armors started popping up... and these many years later, there really is no excuse to choose an FX, unless you are proportionally unfit to get into a screen accurate armor.

The two UK options has been mentioned - TM for ANH & ESB (unsure if he does RotJ, can't remember) and CFO for RotJ.

The US and other options are AP & TE2 - both working from RotJ armor reverse engineered into ANH.
