I'm going to try and get thermal and inkjet prints contour cut on special conformable vinyl from one of my vendors (I'm in the sign & design biz 20+ years although I outsource all my digital prints). I'll be piggy-backing my test files with other jobs so it won't cost me much to work the kinks out but it wiil take awhile. If either one of those don't work out (to my picky liking) I'll next try the old school screen print method. With the screenprint method I would have to hand cut the outer contours (very time consuming). The advantage of the thermal or inkjet method is they can easily be countour cut and no printing registration issues (alignment). This will be a fairly time consuming project and I don't want to make any offers or promises until I feel I've gotten it right. I am currently working on the art files although I could use some really good pics of real lids fron ESB nad ROTJ to help fine tune them. Doug |
