Hope everyone is doing all right. With all the stupid trailers for Jurassic World Dominion popping up all over the place, annoying the heck out of me with how stupid it is for them to go with the "Planet of the Dinosaurs" route, when it makes absolutely no sense. Heck, nothing in the Jurassic World series makes any sense. They had all the chance in the world to really update the dinosaurs to more modern and accurate depictions, with the new park up and running, being able to showcase how the Hammond dinosaurs paled in comparison to the new owners more correct ones - no, instead they went in the opposite direction with doubling down hard on "monsters" rather than real effort depictions of real dinosaurs, and even dumber with their idiotic hybrids and all the things happening purely because of stupid people... no, brain dead, unrealistic plot point people who can't even be classified as human, they are that stupid. It's the typical slasher movie trope of the characters having to be dumb as F in order for the murders to happen, because the writer and director aren't smart enough to make horror with smart people, smart actions and a smart monster. I find it lazy. Jurassic World Dominion would not be possible at all. 2 seconds after the stupid clone girl released the dinosaurs in the equally stupid last movie... Americans with guns would have shot them all. Even before the military was put in to finish the job. Seriously... the whole series past the first movie is just dumb as F... but at least JP3 - crappy as it was - didn't try to act high-brow about it. Anyway, enough with the negativity, as something has popped up on Youtube, made by a single animator called Dead Sound, which puts all the Jurassic World movies to shame and recaptures the awe and excitement of the first Jurassic Park movie. He's made some of the most interesting Videos depicting dinosaurs I've ever come across. They are stylized and dramatized, sure, but his way of portraying the animals and their struggles and how they look is lightyears beyond what has come out of Hollywood and from many, if not most of the documentaries depicting dinosaurs. It caught me by surprise when I originally clicked on his trailer for the series, and his short movies has more drama and tension than I've seen in the Jurassic Park series, basically since the first one. It brought me the same joy of watching dinosaurs as the original Jurassic Park did.
