AFAIK the OSCS is the only EP III Clone helmet with a SA neck ring. It also has a removable faceplate IIRC.

Just wanted to make clear that nothing is held against T-VIRUS for buying this helmet, nor for posting about it here. Recasts ARE a part of this business - I'm talking about the bad kind of recasts - and no one should be slammed for buying one unawares. That's what this place is about... to get help, assistance and learn about what is available, so it'll be easier to avoid recasts in the future, so we can all enjoy this great hobby. Now we've gotten that out of the way, let's get on with business.

Looking forward to progress pictures and what paint scheme you decide on! :thumbsup

The OSCS helmet looks really nice. I have heard that it runs a bit small. Not as small as the mario but a tad smaller than the MR. Plus there is alot of mod work to get the faceplate off since this is the only way to make it wearable because of the neck ring. I think it is a killer helmet though, esp as a display piece. They really nailed the look.

What does "SA" stand for?

I spoke with the OSCS guy, and he said that the kit has to be cut so that the facemask can be removed. It apparently "sticks" using magnets, which is pretty cool. Some sanding is required.

Any more talk regarding other stuff than T-VIRUS's helmet is advised to be continued in a new topic please, as it is considered OT to this thread. Thanks.

Sure, but in order to make stuff easier to locate later, it is better not to have threads go all over the place, but stick solely to the subject of the topic.

So hey, T,

Is this kit a single piece, or does the face come apart from the rest of the helmet?

Also, are you able to put it on?
