Hello everyone, I have no news on the mask, the temperatures here do not allow me to work with fiberglass, because I don't have a place where I can work! Today to continue the work I started the sculpture of the dome! |

But I'm happy because putting some thickness out of the mold I managed to correct the neck defect a bit! |

Looking really lovely. A problem most sculptors run into when working on a Vader helmet from scratch is that they sculpt the dome separately and when they pair it with the face mask they find that they don't fit or look good together. I would actually suggest that you can use one of your face mask casts and then sculpt the dome on top of that in order to get the shapes looking right. You may even be able to do it with your current dome sculpt. |

hello guys, the mask is finally almost over, very few things are missing and I'll make another definitive mold! Meanwhile, here are some photos of the dome that is beginning to take shape, I still have to attach a piece of the mask to see how well it comes, proceed! |

Looking cool. I can spot a few things on the dome. You need to lower the groove between the top of the dome "bowl" and the "skirts". It's sitting too high. Also the top "bowl" part needs to dip in a little bit just before it meets the groove. The "skirts" also needs a bit of work, but getting the groove position right first is more important before working on the those. This will give you that distinct profile. As always, if you have any requests regarding reference on the dome, I can send you some shots of my 3D models from any angle you require. The face mask looks spectacular. Well done. |

I worked a little then two orette on the dome and looked at some photos from the phone, after the mask I will concentrate 100% on the dome! |

Looking great. The mold looks nice as well. Looking forward to seeing the dome turn out as great as the face mask. |
