ok, it's been a while but, the forms for the helmet are finally done, next up is having them printed. once they are printed. they will be prepared and then final modifications will be made to get them ready for molding. stay tuned. |

Cool. Looks kinda like a CR-10. What layer height are you printing in and what will you use to smooth the layer lines? |

Oh, you should have gone with 0.05 layer height. It takes longer, sure, but it's better for a lot of fine detail. However, once you've started with one layer height it's not good to switch to another for other parts, as it will show. |

face is done, this is a raw print, so there is prep work needed, back and dome are next, but very pleased with how this turned out cant really complain. no warping and all shapes and forms were retained. more to come. |

construction and prepping has begun. here is the cap and rear component assembled and being prepped for the molding process. still a LONG way to go. |
