I saw it at Wondercon. And it is GOOD. Seriously. I thought it was the fiberglass one. Only about 300 bucks and you can see it on their site. I handled it too. Great great deal. |

It does look good and will be excellent for those who actually use their costumes. |

No doubt if you troop as the Dark Lord this would be good choice. For display...ehhh. The dome is 2 parts. The tubes are separate parts. They intersect at the cheek awkwardly and are flat and wide forward of the cheek. The nose droop at the tip looks too square; I believe it should flare a bit more. Details, details which make it distinguishable from the eFx Limited/Legend though it was derived from the same. After we see some actual production copies and confirm it's 100% scale with respect to the Limited/Legend then I would consider getting one. |

Interesting. How do you mean that the dome is two parts? Constructed of two parts? I held the dome and it just seemed like a single piece Vader dome. The teeth are also squared off nicely and things are sharp/ crisp. It is an idealized ANH is all. But just for my fyi, how is the dome two parts and how are the tubes separate? Granted, I did not examine uber-closely but held the two pieces separately and then put them together to observe how the magnet mechanism worked - and it works great. As light as the Don Post C/A to hold. |

I've seen the pics. Great to hear from someone that has seen it in person! I'm going to get one as a trooping/costume helmet for sure. |

Hmm. What is the issue regarding those tubes being separately attached or the dome being constructed in two halves? Isn't that just assembly? |
