Regarding the nose bridge depth, it's tough to say 100%. This mask was repainted, and the part of the nose bridge closest to the eye being painted black will give the appearance of having less depth. But it looks right to me. Comparing the two pics above, the mask in the book is turned towards us a bit more which will produce a foreshortening effect that will also make it look not as deep. Even slight changes in camera viewpoint (distance and angle) can cause features from a 3D object to look different, especially those which span depth along the viewing axis. Most of us are clamoring for an up-close look at this mask, and the experts of the experts here would be able I think to confirm its authenticity if and when they are granted an opportunity to see it first-hand. |

RPF wont cover it due to politics and business. Art. Gino. people in bed with each other to make a buck off of the masses now... The Den is the last bastion of true Vader fandom |

Wow ! I've just read all the way through the thread and only just learned about this discovery. I'm sure that I wasn't the only one to leap into the air both hands raised with a loud " YESSSSSS!" Looking forward to reading more and fingers crossed seeing more about the face plate. My thanks to all those concerned . |

The Den is the last bastion of true Vader fandom Bullshit. How much Fett discussion have you seen on the RPF? Fett has his own discussion board and Vader has this one. The same person owns the RPF and the Fett board and that is the only case of politics you will find... I know a shit-ton about Fett but I don't post on the RPF because the level I would want to discuss is too specific to be of interest to most people. |
