Injection molding uses metal molds as far as I know, so # 1 will be exactly like # 100 and exactly like #1000000 in terms of structure. Edges may get worn, but not shape. You've just forgotten how crappily warped these actually are. Good luck with the project.

I'm working on the same project..just as a cheap costuming mask. How did you fix the dome strip? It looks pretty good..here's where mine is at the moment.

I really like the rough look to it. The only thing that stands out to me on a quick viewing is the curve on the left outside mouth wall that looks a bit too extreme (right in picture). I think it should be more flat. Nice work. |
