Yes I have to say I was a little disappointed as I couldnt attend the auction myself as had a meeting with Hugh Grant (he's playing me in a new movie similar to The Social Network, but instead about the epic rise and fall of Star Wars Helmets.com) Anyway I'd put a posted bid of $321,421 in the day before so was really annoyed to be beaten by a single dollar! He will sell suits at the price he's asking, which is affordable, and still make close to that auction AND get to keep the suit. Think about it, a full RS suit sells for about $1500 and they sell about 200 (at least), that's $300,000. Sure it's not full profit, but the more suits they sell, the more they make and the suit never leaves their possession. |

And most of all they get the satisfaction of knowing they've made so many happy by providing actual ANH cast armor finally. I still cant believe it actually. My holly grail. Can you share those pics yet Jez. I'm dying to see them. Ben |

I have found this photo showing what could be the same two troopers except the helmets are on the wrong suits.
