Hi all, I was advised to use Apoxie sculpt for work on my vader project, I wanted to find out more about it. I've searched the forums but I havent seen rave reviews, the other ploblem is in the UK the only type is aves. This stuff any good? wanted to make sure before I jump into something that'll ruin my project.

I was told by a friend that the stuff is a nice easy to use epoxy based resin that can be prepared, added to your model/prop final sculpted before it sets and then once it's cured, it bonds nicely to your model and is easy to fine sand and finish as if it were part of your model/prop. I have not used it personally but am told it's a good product to use and has little shrinkage. :)

I'm using Aves Apoxie Sculpt and it's GREAT. Compared to magic sculpt it is much easier to work with and it is easier to sand as well, from my experience.

I'm using it while sculpting quite extensively, having basically switched nearly completely from Super Sculpey that needs to be baked to Apoxie Sculpt which hardens on its own.

Remember to wear gloves when working with Apoxie Sculpt and you can smooth it with water before it hardens.
