Well, at least it ended up in one of the good guys' hands. Hopefully more info will be revealed about the piece once you get it Mark. It also will help out tremendously since you already have one of DS' ANH face casts. Once you get it and it's confirmed to be a recast, just post the info in this thread and I'll ask one of the mods to move it to the fanmade section so as not to clutter an authentic cast section with a recast. |

Interesting...I knew about a DS ANH conversion but didn't have enough photo reference to pin it down so that's good to see. Nice to see as well we have someone here willing to share and discuss the mask when they get it...but ya ouch on the price...but it isn't like I haven't also been caught off guard in an auction before with bidding...

I think that it was to be shipped last Friday, so 6 days ago. Very likely still in customs right now, but just guessing. |

Yeah, I left negative feedback......: Item never received and seller ceased all communication. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I also sent him a message of sympathy..... :"Do you not have anything to say about the auction that you ripped me off on? Not only do you try and sell a recasted Vader helmet you don't even deliver the goods, or the balls to face up to your actions. Doesn't say much about the integrity of your character does it? I did manage to get a full refund so at least I can rest knowing that it didn't cost me anything but a little of my time and that you got nothing from the sale except negative feedback..... LOSER! Thanks for nothing." Nothing gained, nothing lost....... It could have been something interesting as these things do arise every now and again on the evilbay, sadly not on this occasion. there is always another time..... |
