This is great news!!! Congrats on the acquissition, and I look forward to the product. The helmets you mentioned - would they be the long awaited JoeR CastfromOriginal ones assembled by Keith?

I am doing a run with Keith of the assembled JoeR helmets.

We have some other helmet projects in the pipeline, cast from originals of course!

Can you tell me what are you going to use for the missing parts and I'd like to know if the moulds from CO have got the haircell texture on them or not?

Also, where did you get the idea that the suit CO had was a screen used ROTJ?

WE are still waiting for CO to give us the complete history of the moulds and suit that he owned. As far as I was aware it was a screen used suit but the history from CO will clear that up.

I was told that the original suit was owned by Steve Johnson who was employed by Elstree Studios while scenes of The Empire Strikes Back were being filmed. He moved to Australia and subsequently gave the suit to CO when he moved back to the UK.

We aim to have all the correct info upon launch of the armour.

@ Paul, the back story and research!

Having owned 2 original helmets I have a certain idea about what is original and what is not.

Thanks for the comments fellas.

Your knowledge is only of helmets though, not armour.

So...do your moulds have the texture and who is supplying you with the missing parts to make up the full kit?

Seeing that I can't get a straight answer out of either one of you I can only assume the moulds don't have the texture and FON is right about them being cleaned up?
