DynamicMenace wrote: guess the efx Vader helmet is the same exact one form the tantive scene.. ![]() Yeah... it's from the ANH helmet... but not completely accurate to the Tantive look, sorry to say. It's just a picture showing the two helmets that was used for their products. The Vader helmet and that particular hero trooper helmet. They could have shown ANY picture of the ANH Vader and it would have been correct, as they are making an ANH Vader molded from the ANH screen used helmet, but messed with prior to molding, so not 100% indicative of the movie look, but close enough. |

Cool, thanks for sharing that Mate ![]() I'm not sure if I'm seeing things correctly, but there are some white areas on some of the faces. I hope they're not chips... Cheers, Kraig |

Cool pic! Thanks for sharing DS ![]() Converted the eFX flash slideshow to an animated gif image: ![]() Bryan on RS wrote: We are now anticipating shipping the first lot of Legend helmets from Asia on May 14. The display vendor did not deliver enough bases for a shipment. The shipment should arrive in Los Angeles on/around May 25 and then into US Customs. Unfortunately, as you know, we cannot estimate the schedule through customs, but usually it takes 3-4 days if there are no problems. Once again, we thank you for your patience! If all goes well, we should be shipping most of the 364 edition size!

That would mean helmet plus shipping plus taxes for a german customer something about 1600-1700 USD.....sorry thats a bit to much for my taste for that kind of quality. If you want to resell it it might be ok because it will bring certainly more than that on the market but if you want to have that lid in your collection its simply too much. |

Having shipped many things from the USA over sea to other parts of the world I have never used UPS or Fed-Ex once. I know for a fact that most of this charge is simply because of the box dimensions and not the weight. However the normal postal service would easily be under $150.00 to Romania from California. Not much help, sorry. |

Every customer from Australia or Europe should think about if its possible to let the efX helmet send to a friend in the US from whom the helmet will be shipped with a cheaper shipping option to the rest of the world....could save some pennys ![]() |

I'm certain that there will be second-hand helmets up for sale that will be able to be shipped to Europe for a lot less than that. I wouldn't worry too much (unless you bought one and live in Romania). |

You would have to really put some trust into it though. |

I sent and received packages all over the world since 1993 and couriers like FedEx, DHL and others are the ones having high prices. Sending packages with USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail is very fast and secure. I heard from eFX that the Vader box is too huge to be shipped by USPS but shops like Razor's Edge and others still ship Vader LE by USPS. So who is right? |
