I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Wampa seens made it back in for whatever release Lucas puts out next (3D ?if that's still in the works - that was a rumor for a while) or Bluray (uhm yah whenever THAT happens). Of course by then the wampas will be digitally substituted along with god only knows what other digitally generated noise...
