Thanks. Yeah. This is looking really cool. We are still working out the details, but hopefully things will be moving forward more quickly soon. |

Looking very good - as with a 1:1 Vader the detail of the paint job really pulls it together. Is that a C-Scar? Part of the mold? Maybe just a reflection. Or a paint scratch. Or a smudge. Or it isn't there and just a sign that my retina is detaching. |

Well, I did scan the TM and some surface details were captured by the medium resolution scan I was able to do. If I had been able to scan at high resolution, then all surface details and sharpness would have been captured. |

Is that why the ESB/ ROTJ sits differently?! I thought perhaps it was because of working out but never heard that one before from anyone else. Do we know that? However, that picture right here is of Bob Anderson in the suit. The full photo is pretty wonky actually costumewise as contrasted to hero shots. |

The remaining parts will be printed soon. Just need to get the scaled and fixed models back for review and we go into the final phase once I've checked everything is cool. Also, everything has been molded except for the sabers, so I'll likely get the master casts back + extra parts, so I can continue working on the statues again soon. |

We are ready to print the second batch. Everything is ready and scaled properly, so hopefully I'll have something to show very soon. |

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about how this is looking. Just hope the scaling matches what was printed before. It should, but you never know and with my luck I'm pretty pessimistic... so... just slap me if I get too gloomy and panicy. But man... just look at those prints. I still can't believe this technology exists. 3D laser scanning and printing... WOW... it's like living in a science fiction world come true. I'm going to try and recreate this with the Prowse head. |
