This is kinda set up for the newer enthusiasts that want to see the visual differences between each movie. Just very briefly. They say a picture says a thousand words so I have written enough already ![]() Peaks Cant remember where a couple of these pics came from but I have larger and better files myself of these shots. So if asked to remove I will use my own. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

No worries..If this helps just one person then I'm happy.. obviously this thread has no depth to it whatsoever as it takes a ridiculous time to study all the varients and differences between the Vader props for each movie. |

ANH This is the only dome that has a widow's peak (the pointy "V" shaped center at the end of a mid strip). This is also characterized by the "Y" shaped crease which is a sculpted quasi-continuation of the eyebrows/frown of the front rim meeting in the center. The mid strip is on the narrow side, not wider than the bridge of the nose itself. ESB The widow's peak is gone, but remnants of the "Y" shaped crease are there. This area has a thumbsize depression. The mid strip is slightly wider. The ESB is essentially a modification of the ANH. ROTJ This is essentially a modification of the ESB. The "Y" shaped crease and thumb depression are gone, and this area is flat. Mid strip is wider than ANH. |

Forgive the crude photo comparison, I just wanted to demonstrate the difference in the centre strip with the Y crease, thumb indent. Without pointing everything out in great detail I have opted to just illiustrate this rough example to help others see the difference.
