I have a couple of 12" scale hands that I want to alter. the hands are flat and I want to bend the 2 middle fingers to give a devil horn finger pose (Ronny James Dio sort of thing). Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks for any advice |

What material are they made from? Soft or hard plastic? Is it possible to make the plastic soft by heating it with a hair dryer? Regarding making bends in soft plastic is that you take a hobby knife and cut V shaped indents into the part from the side where you want to bend it towards. You have to nearly cut through to the other side, but not completely - you need a little to make the bend look realistic as a total cut-off will make it look just like that, a cut off. The more you have to bend the wider you have to make the V-cut. For fingers you have to cut at every joint and then bend one section at a time and glue it in place. |

the hands are soft plastic although as the hand gets thicker (around the palm) its harder to bend. what sort of glue? |

Well, if it's vinyl, you'll need cyanoacrylate glue... otherwise, just any two-part super glue should work. |
