After 10 hours of driving and too much motorway KFC I finally picked up this little beauty over the weekend!
Jez, the worlds foremost expert on all things Stormtrooper, was kind enough to welcome me into his home and we spent a few hours examining this and talking Stormtroopers.
It is excellent condition and has original trims and lenses, it was not finished off with paint nor decals, but does have a fully finished interior. It is a bit of an enigma in that it came from an extra who worked on set at Elstree so it might have been used in the film, but I have not been able to clarify this yet. According to certain experts there were decal-less and paint-less helmets around on the Death Star set. If anyone has any information or pictures, please drop me a pm, I would love to clarify if this was used or not.
I am gutted that I have been unable to find a finished helmet, but in contrast to my last helmet it is nice to now own a 'virgin' untouched helmet, in such excellent condition! There are only a handful of Jedi helmets in such good condition, that I am aware of.
