Yeah, man this kit is not for the faint of heart. It's a challenge to get any garage resin kit to go together properly.......sometimes it takes lots of sanding and filing to get it all to work together. Randy gives good instruction CDs with his kits, so if you follow his directions it will go smoother. The kit comes with over 120 parts if I recall. You'll need to cut and add some plexiglass supports inside as well because I don't think the stuff he provides will be quite enough to keep it from sagging over time. I also added roughly 1000 parts from a couple of 1/700 scale battleship kits made by Dragon. Then of course the 1000-1500 fibers for the lighting. Dave |

I'd love to say it's simple, but it would be misleading......at least with my kit. Others have expressed the same sentiment about it's difficulty. Garage kits are hardly ever a simple matter to deal with. With commercial kits, everything is injection moulded and has very little flash and you don't have to do alot of trimming to get it all to fit and work together.........not wo with resin garage kits. Most Garage kits end up sitting in storage until they are sold to someone else. Because if you aren't pretty dedicated to working with the kit and making it look like it is supposed to in your mind..........with lots of effort and time............it's not worth starting. Garage kits are very very rewarding if you are willing to put the correct time and effort into them. Dave |

Thanks Tom. I didn't know I could either........LOL. I still don't know exactly how I'll pull it off, but I'm gonna give it my all. I have a few kinks yet to work out, but with luck, it will work like I want it to. Dave |
