Here is a thread I started at the RPB: Might be old news for some. The guys at the Prop Store have been lucky enough to find this little gem, albeit a little battered! 
Can't believe someone sanded this down - that is just criminal! I am really pleased that more and more of these helmets are turning up, and residing in the UK. I would love a Hero to be found in private hands... What does everyone think? Joe |

Man, I would absolutely LOVE to own that helmet. It looks über sharp and even has the sixth tooth cut out. Has it been matched to any of the on-screen helmets yet? |

I think someone said they have, although it would be hard with all the sanding. This one would be perfect for casting... Joe |

Well, not many helmets have all six teeth cut out... that should at least narrow it down some... unless it was done in the "restoration" attempt. I really hope it is left as-is, as it would be a shame to do anything to it!

So much Potential. Looks great apart from the sanding. Details still look sharp and it looks a candidate for casting as you say. |

Yes. I remember it being possibly matched to that helmet... but wasn't there doubt about a perfect match? Can't remember which forum it was on, though. |

I thought the back was damaged quite badly and matched a scene from Tantive IV. No price on the site. What a tease. |

Personally I don't think the screen match is right. Not surprising as the dealers are the slackest people when it comes to research  Joe |

I think is a possible match,...the image is very small and still offer doubts...anyway, I will try to find it in the movie and get a few captures. Cheers A |
