Pardon me if I missed it, but do you have a site up with your portfolio Brian? Someone mentioned all the work you have done on the different films (my kids love the Potter films) and I wondered if there was a collection of your work somewhere.

A website is the next project after finishing the book.

This is a great thread, thanks for participating Brian, Its great to get the info straight from the horses mouth so to say.
A bit off topic, but would you ever consider redoing vader if the opportunity came along?, like a licensed version? that'd be a cool thing to have.
Also what are your thoughts on the resculpted vader for ep 3, sorry if this has been covered before, seems a shame they didn't get you back to redo it

Hi Frosty,

I seem to remember meeting you at the NEC convention - you have an interest in everything gory I believe?

I would be willing to be involved with resculpting Vader for a licensed company if the opportunity arose.

I have stated before that although the resculpted Vader was a very professional job I still prefer the character in the original ANH.

Yeah, I can't understand why eFX hasn't contacted you about helping them bring out the best Vader possible.

Heck, they did the McQuarrie concept helmet.

Would be totally killer for their company too to get the original sculptor involved, imo.

Maybe someone should pitch that idea to them!?

I think on behalf of the community that we should contact them on your behalf, then, and see what they think of the idea. :thumbsup

Well... I went ahead and wrote them... but I think if more people wrote... the more it won't just seem like a crack-pot idea from one guy to them. :cheers

Thanks NHM - now let's get down to the nitty gritty - what percentage do you want? :lol

Ya, that's been a hope of mine for quite some time, before with Master Replicas and now with eFX. It's too bad their present priorities seem to be with the concept Vader or with reproducing items leftover from MR. I think it is great if people push them to support the idea of a Brian Muir edition ANH Vader helmet, and also the two droid heads he sculpted (that Death Star droid is my favorite)....or even a Liz Moore/Brian Muir edition stormtrooper helmet and armor. They really have a unique opportunity to involve THE person who made these iconic pieces come to life. I hope that such encouragement might direct them to change their production plans sometime within the next couple of years, and get Brian the recognition among the fans he so deserves.
