I would buy this even though It's inaccurate enough to frustrate me. Lucas needs to give a license to Marmit to replicate the very rare figures that justify Vader. They are the best IMO and are superior to all the other statue's and figures, Attakus and Sideshow included. |

Well, so far, imo, nothing has beaten the Marmit figures - especially not their Vaders. |

I agree, it's kind of a not very good blend of the two poses. I think I would have liked it better had they done one or the other, but not both. |

No, its only the ROTJ Vader, but nice piece also. Marmit never released any of their Vader figures... that was Medicom... and they are under-sized. |

I don't know whether they're under sized, but compared to a Marmit they're definately small. |

Compared to any 1:6 scale figure they are undersized, but they are not undersized for 12" figures, even though they are usually considered the same. |

Sorry Carsten, my mistake. You're absolutely right. Medicom not Marmit, but i like the look of them, better as everything other in the 12" which is available in the moment. And they are really smaller then the Marmits (i have 4 of them, and no Vader ) |

The gloves look like leather. But the shoulder "bells" and the helmet look like plastic. |

LOL... just wrote this to GG, regarding their up-coming ESB Vader Statue... I imagine they'll think I'm a gimp... but it'll be cool if they replied! Quote: Hello Gentle Giant Ltd,
I have been checking the picture of your up-coming Darth Vader ESB Statue - https://www.gentlegiantltd.com/catalog/ ... detail/214 - and was just wondering why you settled on that odd pose that more resembles how he kneeled in front of the Emperor in Return of the Jedi, rather than how he looked in Empire Strikes Back. He almost looks sad in this current pose. I know it may be a moot point, but thought I'd ask anyway. Why not use this pose instead - http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/5918 ... 015fc6.jpg - looks much cooler and fits more with Vader's mindset in ESB rather than the brooding mindset of RotJ. Also just wanted to say that the current statues body proportions are off - his right leg, his thigh, is most definitely too short in proportion with the rest of his body. I know you may not wanna change the pose too much on the figure, from promo to final figure, but I just had to try! .) Hope the body proportions gets fixed though. Looking forward to better pictures of the helmet, which on previous versions except for the RotS bust has pretty much always been a let-down to me, accuracy-wise. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to new releases. Sincerely, Carsten Hedegaard |

eBay? http://cgi.ebay.com/Spiderman-3-Black-S ... dZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/SPIDER-MAN-3-BLACK- ... dZViewItem Entertainment Earth also has it, but I wouldn't call it the best deal. I really like the Venom bust they're doing (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... er=DC21373), and would really like to get it, but I just got the newest credit card statements, and I'm almost scared back into not collecting anything ever again. I need to sell off some of my stuff. |
