Does anyone have information on the 9thy ROTJ stuff. I think I know who this is but I just want to be sure. Thanks.

Sorry, don't know anything about it... looks like a killer set of armor, though.

SDS Armor picture added - courtesy of our very own crow! :thumbsup

I knew I had seen that background for the 9thy armor before. I just checked Jez's site and confirmed that this armor is or was owned by Jorid B. over in Germany. There was another set, my personal set, sold to his friend Oliver (TK-742) at C2. The interior of the helmets from 9thy should read the initials "SPB", "EJK", or "J_G" (cant remember his middle initial.) also 9thy should be 9thny. Cost was helmets $350 full armor $1200.

If you want or need more accurate information on this armor pm me. The above info by Joe is a bit incorrect. Unfortunately I have fallen out of touch with 9thny and havent been able to get ahold of him for about a year. I know that the trooper project pretty much turned him away from SW all together. This armor was hands down the best ROTJ you could get, right on par with TE's armor. There were also less than 5 complete suits ever made to my knowledge.

Also for Jez: The armor and helmet on the site originate from TE circa 2000, and this set was built early spring 2002.

Great thread NHM

If you're missing any pics then please check my site and add as necessary.

I'm conscious that Ive not updated my Stormtrooper section for over 2 years (those putting a and b together will see it coincides with a certain legal event).

As soon as there's some resolution to that I'd like to update the section as theres a hell of a lot thats happened in those 2 years not represented on StarWarsHelmets.com

Cheers

Jez

JRX: WOOHOO... more pictures for me to work with... cool... and don't be ashamed... one has to start out someplace... I started out with Meatsock. :thumbsup

BingoBongo275: WOW, that's cool, thanks. Looking forward to the end of the legal battle to see your updates! :thumbsup

There seem to be a lot of different Movie-FX helmets and armors.

Yes... hasn't Movie FX gone through 3 or 4 versions by now?

Yeah... thanks again for the link to their site SWC... been meaning to get things updated and new topics like this added with the Scouts and Tie helmets... but just haven't been feeling well at all lately.

Added the Movie FX armor to the first page. Sorry... but you really can't determine quality in those armor pictures... you would have to go to their own site or Jez's http://www.starwarshelmets.com to get a better perspective on how the armor looks and its quality.

What about ebay seller postbox1000? He is from Germany and is often selling accurate ANH armor. He claims it to be 1st gen and different from the TE and GF armor. Does anyone know of this seller and possibly verify the authenticity of the armor?
