thanks dudes! I just hope the high-gloss ABS matches my acrylic capped SDS armor close enough to make me happy =)
I already plan on polishing up the bucket with car wax =)

Actually I'm less concerned with the gloss as I am with the shade of white.

Mmm it may need paint, my AP is white white compared to the older blue white but is not all that glossy compared to my fx suit.

But i havent tried pilishing my helmet yet.

arrived today! =)

looks great. It is on the "bluish" side in terms of the shade of white, but still a fine lookin helmet. And the gloss level is satisfactory. All in all a great b-day present! =)

I do notice I need an accurate neck trim...it came with the same trim as the brow material.

I just bought some rubber rim with metal inside - didn't go for accurate. Just need to trim the excess rim, so it looks good.

well, I've started.

I'll try to post more pics as I progress, but I've got up to cutting the right eye. No sanding yet, but it's a start.

Oh... you got a completely untrimmed kit... how cool is that? :cheers

Looking good.

Yeah... I get confused when clicking on this thread, 'cause sometimes it's your thread and sometimes it's my own thread - similar title... quite funny when I'm about to reply with suggestions to my own thread thinking it's yours. LOL. :lol

Awww... you took all the fun away. :lol

How do you plan to trim the frown?

Do you mean how do I physically plan to do it? Very carefully with a minimum amount of coffee or Red Bull, and with the small x-acto blade seen in the pics above =)

If you mean stylistically, I plan to cut out all the teeth, including the fourth tooth on ea side...

LOL... yeah... okay... you got me there. It's just that if you planned on using a power tool or something that it would probably be a good idea to trim it from the back instead of the front, so you won't risk damaging the face surface if it slips... but I'm sure you know all that already, so what am I worrying about?

ALso... I think the bump it the should have a more abrupt beginning and not such a smooth transition from the rest of the eye... if you know what I mean. Not extreme... just a little more... edge.
