I agree! One of the best vader displays I've seen. :as2

I rarely give compliments on ESB Vader's as I find many are off, but it looks very good, nice job.

Ya great progress thanks for showing... :thumbsup

The only thing I would adjust maybe is the taper of the shoulders...a bit steep toward the neck...could be the height of the helmet...might sit it a tad lower? Or it could be just the leather of the cape around the neck sticking up a bit...

Thanks for all the kind comments, guys. This has been nearly a year of work and waiting (for the right parts).

On the shoulders, I think that's just the way this particular armor is made. It's JB's V1 armor. I've got the helmet sitting the lowest it could possibly be (without actually touching the front collar part of the armor).

Here's some pics:Image

JB's currently working some armor that's closer in proportion the one's used on ANH/ESB. I can't wait to get a set!

ok thanks Joe I checked my ESB reference and the helmet is actually sitting that way so I guess it's accurate...nice work...and ya I agree it's the armor...if you look at the screencap of vader crouching down to talk to the emperor in ESB you can see the armor is flatter across the shoulders...or at least seems to be...

Yeah, it's still a good set of armor, just the color is too light for my helmet. I can't wait to upgrade. ;)

I agree, this display looks very very cool
What other parts do you use for the display?

Well, here's some clearer pics. My brother rushed in taking these so I didn't get every angle on the helmet like alot of people PM'd me about. But still, they look clearer.

I still think this is the best ESB helmet available.

Here ya go:

Your Vader looks fantastic, the posture is just right, looks like he's just been to the gym for a hard chest session.

Great display :)
