That's looking real nice. I'm no expert, but what gives it away as an SDS?

1/The earcaps.

then:

The glossy HIPS.
The mic tips.
And the sharp vocoder.

IMHO

Thanks guys. Yes, it is a SDS hero helmet. By the way, I noticed that the screen- used hero helmets have differents ear cups to SDS, Gino, and Follano "Hero" buckets.
The Screen-used helmets have three bumpy lines on the ear- cups instead of four.

AFAIK, only TE has the correct "hero" earcaps... though, iirc, GINO had original style hero earcaps that he got from TE on at least one of his hero helmets... his own... or am I completely wrong?

I am not sure either, but as far as I know the TE helmet is the "stunt"
helmet, and the stunt has 4 lines. Does anybody know if TE made a "hero" version?. If so does anybody has images?
I have seen Gino's "hero" and the ear cups have 4 lines and no 3 like the screen-used Hero bucket

Thanks Darth Finger. I really love it too. I know most of the people prefer the stunt helmets, I like both but believe the hero helmet has a more agressive look

Just read this thread.
In response to some of the earlier posts, I was actually the first to notice that the ears had 3 bumps about 4 years ago and incorporated them into my hero ears about 3 years ago.
Posted pics on the rpf and everything.
It just seem to get glazed over and no one else seemed to pay much attention to that detail.
