Absoultely Fabulous! Re: last picture of right hand side - is the last ridge towards the rear of the earcap divided in half? Effectively making it 5 bumps?

I've looked at the pictures of the original and of the original scan and there is a dip in that area. Just not sure if it is as pronounced as it looks in that picture of the print. I don't have the cast yet, so I can't say how it looks in the flesh, so to speak. Will be interesting to see up close.

And here's the last shot of the set. Will hopefully get something new to show off soon, but hope you'll enjoy this until that happens.

With all the paint chipping detail preserved in the print it will be a joy to paint it and not have to guess so much as to where to put the HDPE color. The scratches and damage to the paint otherwise will be the real challenge. Must admit... it's gonna be great.

Have a great weekend.

So once this gets printed 1:1 scale, would that make this helmet "The most accurate Stormtrooper helmet replica ever made?"

No. But I think it would make it the most accurate SFS replica helmet ever made to date, in terms of preserved details, fitting and assembly-wise.

It`s sort of in a category all on it`s own.I mean it`s not the accurate materials but it`s preserved the most detail than any helmet ever has and probably ever will. It`s basically a clone detail and assembly wise. It`s beutiful.

I must apologize for the teasing effect of this post, but I just wanted to say that there will be more updates after New Years. Can't wait to show more.

Looking good fellas.

I think to be the most accurate accurate helmet it would have to be in the correct 1mm HDPE and vac formed. It is however an awesome representation of the original and great that it will be preserved in your collections. :salut
