I didn't know about the way the helmet was different in ESB and ROTJ. I thought they were the same and Vader just wore it different. Thanks for the heads up.

I have been meaning to do this for a while, as I see some inaccurate terms for the props going around at times and I haven't seen this on a forum. Generally these are some of the terms that have stayed with the Vader props for a long time. There may be variences by some which is okay of course, such as the UK prop makers would call the dome a helmet and the face plate a mask etc.

The term Greebly/Greeble/greeblie are terms used to describe something unknown in the SW galaxy, the term is most used in describing parts such as on the ESB chestbox for example. I have seen many different spellings in books of this term and talking to a few people around at the time who worked on Star Wars they have little idea how to spell it consistently. In view of these little things I am sure people have their own personal take on words but I believe this to be a brief guide to what is the correct terminology in the prop world.

Thanks to Pete (Darth Karo), I wanted to compare notes with someone and it turns out we both agreed 100% to the same terminology and he deserved to be credited with this as a joint project :thumbsup .

[color=#0040BF]I used a different system to draw the lines tonight hence the wonky lines and them not reaching their correct place of destination and I admit to rushing this. I hope this proves useful to some :cheers

Nice job. I know you had it written before when you showed me the pic, but I think you posted the earlier pic, but coinslots on the chestbox. Great write up. I say let's get the whole damn costume done and labeled. :thumbsup

Yeah good call, why not. Doh, I did have a pic saying coinslots as you say instead of coins, I must of deleted the updated one or something? Hmm. Oh well, I'm off to bed it's 2 am otherwise I would change a couple of things that I just spotted like instead of just lights I should of labelled light lenses etc for the belt boxes, mind you it was a basic guide overall. Cheers Pete, oh and the rest is on you Bro, this took too long as I am still getting to grips with the software I was using. Nah, next week we should finish the other parts and I will put it in the first post :salut .
