Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone else out there has purchased a SDS suit and its like mine. I love it but the glue joins are rough and there is excees melted plastic where the plastic shims are glued on.
Looks ok from a distance but wondered if anyone has addressed this or is mine unique-in a not so good way.
There are a few glue spots also but I can sand and polish those out.
Also there are gaps from the side where the glue has not been spread even.
I wondered if silicone would fill in the imperfection but obviously it would not be %100 success.
Interested to hear.
regards
Graham

Hope someone can help you. I don't have a suit, though have found several that look nice. Good luck! :thumbsup

I have an SDS suit and I can't say I have any issues with it... Can you post some pictures of the exact areas you are talking about?

For the money it costs if you aren't happy i'd say phone them up and get a replacement i wouldn't accept substandard work for that money

Gotta second that...you may want to talk to SDS before you make any attempt to fix it yourself. Good luck. :thumbsup

I also have an SDS armor and like Crow I do not have any issues with the armor by any mean. The best thing would be to post some pictures or try to talk to AA; he is always willing to help. Good luck.
