Happy May 4th! I hope you survive being inundated with Star Wars Day memes from all of your non-Star-Wars-fan friends today...

I have started a YouTube channel focused on Star Wars props and costumes and have just uploaded my first video, this time outlining what went in to making Luke's lightsaber from ANH. Obviously nothing you all here don't already know, but I thought you might get a kick out of it anyway. My hope is to produce more videos like this outlining other props, showcasing found parts, and just generally having some fun in this hobby, so please feel free to subscribe!

Thanks guys! It was fun trying to come up with interesting and clear ways of illustrating how it all went together. I've already started on the next video!

Carsten, no I still haven't finished that Vader helmet... I'm still undecided which way to go with it. I did recently get a ANH dome that pairs with it nicely, so I'm leaning more in that direction than ESB at the moment. I'd have to try and reshape the ESB dome anyways, which I'm inexperienced at so I'd have to read up on it. Someday I'll finish it, along with a thousand other projects I've had on the go for years!
