Hi all,

I've been giving some thought to the Rebels Vader, since the series just ended. I noticed I haven't seen much in this forum on it at all or about what anybody else's opinions on are, so I was just curious what you all think...

I know it's an animated show, that is probably meant for kids, but I really like how Darth Vader looks in Rebels. Even though the cheekbones and such are radically different it still seems to do a very good job of capturing that look. Daresay I like it a lot more than the episode 3 Vader.

If you haven't watched the show you probably should, even though you may feel it's for kids, it really is actually written more for adults. And it's some of the best pure Star Wars I've seen (when it's not doing Filler episodes). In the episode Twilight of The Apprentice you get pure Darth Vader at his best. James Earl Jones, the heavy breathing, just the whole package is very impressive and worth the watch. What do you think? I'm hoping that somebody will make a very good replica of the helmet if they did what do you think would you buy it?

I kinda liked the Ralph McQuarrie designs of some of the things in the show. It seems they went with the cover art helmet from the old ANH book release. I still like the helmet better as it is seen in the painting where Vader is facing off Starkiller. The prequels should have been full of unused McQuarrie designs instead, but they weren't so much.

I believe there are some guys over at the RPF who made a Rebels Vader helmet that they are already selling and I think CSMaclaren is sculpting his own version.
