mattiza ROTJ helmet

With there being so few ROTJ helmets out there how does the Mattiza compare? The only other ones that I'm aware of were the TE ROTJ and the Oakley (which weren't that good). I know JM has a tour suit helmet but has not decided to mold it yet that I'm aware of.

Im not going to help much here but i have been thinking about jedi trooper lids myself this week, what is available out there?

T-VIRUS landed a Matizza within the last few months. Perhaps he can share some photos? I'm really not into ROTJ stormtrooper helmets, but T's looked pretty decent.

What can you tell us about Matizza? There's not a whole lot of info about them.

Hi Dark Lord. Here are the pics of mine...sorry they are not better but if you want i can try sometime to snap some better ones.

The details are not near as blue in person as they appear in these shots...camera made them look real bright.

Is that a 1 piece design? it looks like the ears are moulded all as 1?

Thanks fireblade...hey I got a question. Does anybody know when these helmets were made..roughly...and in what sort of quantities are we talking about? Reason I ask is...I really don't see any, nor do I hear of many people speak of them.

Just wondering what kind of info is out there...you know...a history lesson. :salut

I believe they were made in 2006, and there were about 10-12 made.

I'd love to get a ROTJ TK some time in the future, anyone know who still makes them? Does TE? And WOW, love that blue aswell.

Hey Mark,

Last I heard, 'JR' was going to be offerring a 4-piece ROTJ vac-form helmet.... but no recent updates...

I've always had a 'soft spot' for the ROTJ Stormies since it was the first SW movie I saw in the cinema, but rhe only styrene/ABS ROTJ replicas have been from TE and J o'C 'Down Under' and and both are rare..... definitely a gap in the market here...

Agreed - we need a RotJ trooper. I tried to convince MR/EfX to do one but they werent interested having done the ANH Hero.

Whoever does do one will need to do accurate decals since those blue ones are crazy. What next - red :lol

Thinking about it, IIRC Mike (4510) did a set of ESB's based on the pics I took of the ESB's at Christies - they would work great
