The MR and FM are two very different scaled beasts. The MR is a studio scale, while the FM is 1:72 scale. The MR is built with the same pieces that made the original while everything on the FM is scratchbuilt by that company to that scale. Regarding which is more accurate... well... impossible to say, as, as I said, they are two very different beasts.

MR without question is more accurate. I Don't have the FM one but I do have a comp with the Hasbro Falcon, which although a toy and completely inaccurate is pretty cool for the money and functions that it has, plus it's a fraction bigger than the MR. Definately not better though :lol . The FM Falcon is naturally so much cheaper than the MR and worth having. but IMO if you were to pay more for the MR, you won't be disappointed :thumbsup .

Yeah, I was watching some re-paints on the RPF a while back by Gunpowder and fantastic job. I am not 100% sure just how inaccurate the paint job is, but I know it's not amazing? I have always loved the Falcon but I am just becoming a fan, like anything you buy these days I am sure it does need a repaint.

Very annoying considering the price.

Paul, is that the new $150.00 falcon that is out or an older model? I just purchased the new one, but have yet to take it out of the box. I didn't know you had an MR falcon. I'm gonna hit you up for some pics now.

Yes it is the new one buddy. Take a look at this cool review for the Hasbro Falcon, you can see how small the old falcon is next to this one. Just a point when you put the Falcon together, the manibles lock in place and you can't remove them.

As for the MR one, it's great but they should have stuck to the promotional paint job :protest , looks like when I have time (in about 1 year I have to do a repaint.
