Here are some pics of my new Laws Tie pilot helmet as promised ( from 6ft back! ). I like it ALOT better than the old Laws Ties..This one looks much more accurate to me .I recived the helmet form Laws completely assembled. I changed quite a few pieces..

Lenses: forgive the gaffer tape instalaltion..I have been messing with all types and making my own untill I can find a prfect combo of bubble and being able to see! The ones pictured are a set of buble lenses from a FX stormtrooper helmet ( PERFECT fit) backed with some welders sheild for darkness

Liner: gutted batting helmet..3 fans , radio shack mic (cord runs up hose from chest box)..rubber edge moulding from Mc Master Carr

Ear greeblies: I made them myself on my lathe

Cogs: 100% accurate cogs are IMPOSSIBLE to find! No one offers white printed on clear. Most of the die cuts are of the wrong cog. I got these off ebay and they are the closest I have seen. The sellers name is toonman3f4v ..he says he may be able to do the printed kind, so start bugging him!

Pill box: I did a little pin stiping tape trickery to make it look like the screen used ones!

I think that about covers it...I have been redoing my Tie Pilot costume for Comic -Con...full suit pics comming soon!

Forgot to add that that's a very sweet looking helmet. Would be interesting to see a side-by-side of the V1 and V2.

Nice helmet & great job on the pill box.I was going to buy one of his kits years ago but the molded ears bothered me. Now I don't have the cash .Oh well maybe in the near future.
