After my account on Photobucket got nuked and Imageshack decided to turn into a paysite, I need to find a new one that works just as great as the previous Photobucket did, but doesn't suddenly make changes that screws everything up out of the blue - I'm never going back there. What options are available and which service offers the best options? I'm not into editing or doing anything fancy with the pictures once they are uploaded, but sorting in folders would be nice, but not a requirement.

Hope you can help.

I'm curious about this as well. For regular photos I use tinypic and for some that I want to be able to edit in time I still use Photobucket. Imageshack is not an option anymore and I don't like flickr. There is imagebam.com but I haven't used it in some time so not sure if it still works ok, though some very old photos hosted there are still available today.

I've always just used a domain host through yahoo business for my images to have complete control. Yes it costs a few bucks but I'm not interested in someone else hosting my images.

You could try imgur.com. They do have private albums.
