I located my original Star Wars Double LP Soundtrack. Here are the pictures of the front, back, and contents.

It included some great liner notes about each track.

I wonder if I can still order that T-Shirt?

Wonder if you can still order that t-shirt direct. LOL

My parents visited last week and brought my original Star Wars Double LP with them. ...I don't have all the pieces, but I have original jacket, sleeves and albums. ...though my albums have different center printed labels.

Awesome! Looks like you have the earliest pressing from 20th Century Records. The first pressings were configured for a record-changer type player so you could stack them and have it automatically change from side one to side two and not have to flip the record. Just need pics of the John Berkey poster to complete everything :-) I would love to have one of the t-shirts too.

I'd like to get a copy of the German issue of the record set for my collection some day. Instead of the Star Wars logo that was almost universally used for the cover it had the Jung Style-A Poster artwork on the front cover and the Vader picture on the back (tinted blue!).

If it was an early pressing it was because it had been sitting at the record store for some time. I bought it probably a year after Star Wars was released. As a pre-teenager trying to save up for a DP standard helmet, $11.99 plus tax for the double LP was quite a deduction from my birthday/Christmas money savings account!

But the choice was made easier for me after I purchased a horrible cut-rate $1.99 LP Star Wars soundtrack performed by I think Starlight Orchestra. I figured same music, different conductor, it should sound about the same. Oh was I wrong. It was probably one guy with a Casio mini-keyboard and an 8-track analog recorder who made the record. The main instrument sound was like the eerie synthesizer used in the Dagobah Luke VS Vader cave scene. I was so pissed off I immediately bought the REAL John Williams / LSO soundtrack. And yes I've still got that horrible record. Who knows it might be some kind of worst-Star-Wars collector's item now. I doubt that even Steven Sansweet has it... or would want it lol.
