These are pics of the original 20th Century parts that Mark Johnston in Banbury, UK received from Steve Arnold who used to run a company called "Heroes for Sale". The pics were taken by Chris King in 2000/2001 when he went to visit Johnston. Chris said it was ok to post them. :thumbsup

You're welcome guys. Yeah, I agree Jay, the tour suits do have a certain kind of cool factor to them. They aren't for everybody, but you still have to appreciate what they are/were. At the time they were being used on tour, no one gave a rat's ass that it wasn't the original Vader, trooper or whatever. They produced a lot of happy faces and a feeling you just saw something close to the original movies. I wouldn't mind one in the collection, just for that.

That mounting system on the faceplate is the same colour as the one on mine that I just bought from DS. I take it the copies were made of a different material that the original mount? Which leads me to think that maybe mine is an original tour helmet?
Shame there isn't a pic of the inside of the dome mount......

wow now that is interesting, all the pics i have seen before of the 20th c have a very warped/flared dome, this looks bang on and well proportioned
