No guns. Sent you a PM though. Still picturing though someone holding a gun to someone else's head and saying "Paint my f***ing helmet!!!"

LOL! I'd be worried the painting won't come out perfect! But then again, we are after the hurried and "rushed" look I suppose!
LMAO!

You've really caught the essence of ANH Vader , at least how I remember him..........

I know a few people have asked but I'm guessing it's a TM?

In which connection does this helmet offer stand with Pauls helmet?

A couple of pics added to this older display. My current Vader has seen a few subtle changes. Things like the tabs, cape chain, dome/position and a couple of other details differ now. The updated full display should be completed next year.

Would love to see more photos if your willing to share them. And of how it looks now.
Seeing post like this is the next best thing to going to see the props in an exhibit :salut

Thanks Michael :cheers . I will for sure, but I'd like to wait until it's finished as that's why I'm showing old pics. I normally don't post WIP things until I feel they look more like a duplicate, instead of a replica. That's the end goal, but I have very little time to concentrate on Vader this year.

Would love advice on Anh dome positioning to match Vader in the tantive4 corridor
I've been going over this time & time again with my Anh Vader .
It's a tough one,
How far forward does the widows peak sit off from the facemask . From the side on shots of tantive 4 it looks to me like there is a 5-8mm air gap?
Does the eye brows if the dome cover the eye brows of the mask or is the illusion from the shadow cast due to the dome sitting off the facemask?

I took these old test shots in one sitting and my dome slipped out of position as the tabs broke on one so now I have a back up with velcro and tabs as it's more secure.
I would just try to match a specific shot of your choosing like the tantive as you say and take pics of your mask next to a screen shot and compare in photoshop trying to mimic the distances and angles of your chosen shot. The reason I say that is the dome was all over the place for many scenes in ANH and you also have to bear in mind the make of mask and dome you have as if you say mine has a 6mm gap it may differ on someone else's casting . So it's mainly down to personal preference I would say.
