From RS Facebook page:

"OK, so it's here! Our full lineage Snowtrooper Helmet: Alan Flyng Signature Edition.

These will be getting signed next weekend. We have 50 ready to go and we are hoping to have Alan personalise these at the clients request (if required), but this needs to be arranged before next weekend.

The pre-order will go live on Monday, with many more images and full details. These are available clean, but we would recommend weathered as seen in the movie.

Price will be £325 plus shipping and can be ordered from Monday 12th March. Limited to 100 worldwide, but initially only 50 will be released with Alan able to sign the helmets directly."

Indeed they are. and unlike EFX guys who get this stuff for their eyes and closets only, RS offers them to the public too. And at reasonable prices, not Gino prices.

Any idea if those replica helmets will have the accurate hard hat liner, as well?
Have seen that they found a correct one, but not know from which vintage helmet it comes and if those are still to get.

To be honest, I have no idea how the interior looks like. Asked Rob but no reply yet.

Here some pic's Rob posted on his facebook page.
On the stamp inside is something written like, HAMON or HESTON.

I assume that they used a foamliner like on the regular trooper helmets and used that chinstrap from the hard hat liner, fixed by the pin you see on top of the helmets.

As far as i can tell, the hard hat liner looks like from a 80's worker hard hat.

Brands i searched so far which not match:

Bullard
Wilson
McDonald

Close but not 100 match are from Fibre Metal:
Models: SuperLectric, SuperLite, Superglas

I've seen those pics, but not all Snowtrooper helmets had that type of strap inside. Also I don't know if they will use this or something else, that is why I asked. We'll see what they say

Some more pics

Helmets start shipping today.
They did a whole batch about 50 helmets (including all the other stuff they had done beside), just 4 weeks after customers had placed their payments :cheers

Seems they improved a lot their order handling while moved in their new shop.
As they write, they have an extra area now for final quality check before shipping.

The stands look also updated.
Surface looking very smooth and they also added an extra ball on top that the helmet will fit nicely on the stand.

Paperwork looks very professional made.

Helmets will also have the double layer vinyl front cowl as the screen used ones. :thumbsup

Overall very nice improvements regarding customer service and quality control.
There are some "licenced" companys, which could cut a slice of that.
Well done RS Team. :thumbsup

RS said I'm in the first batch, but no sign of shipping yet. But the EFX Scout is on its way to me LOL

I have to say, it's a really nice helmet.
Also like their weathering on that one.
The cowl material is much more thinner as i thought but it really nails the look.

I would just change the star foam liner to a hard hat liner.
